In 1993, Freetech was founded in Hong Kong.
In 1997, Freetech entered China mainland and began its road maintenance business. In the same year, Freetech designed&manufactured the first Hot-in-Place recycling patching vehicle in PRC.
In 1991, Freetech purchased America Heating Company, which is praised as great process in road maintenance industry of PRC.
In 2001, Freetech road patching vehicle, Patching Master, was cited by National standard.
In 2002, Mr. Sze, chairman of Freetech, was invited to participate in High-level Forum of National Road Maintenance Technology Innovation, and proposed the concept of paying attention to daily maintenance and recycling of road material.
In 2005, Freetech designed and manufactured the first revolutionary Hot-in-Place recycling train in PRC.
In January, 2015, research on Recycling Economy and Road Maintenance, the issue declared by Freetech was approved as soft science by Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC, which is the first research about realizing economy recycling on road maintenance in PRC.
In May, 2007, Freetech hot-in-place recycling technology is listed in Material Saving and Recycling Economy Specific Project by PRC Ministry of Transport, which is the only company that participated in this project.
In March, 2009, Freetech hot-in-place recycling technology is recognized as International leading by PRC Ministry of Transport.
In May, 2009, Mr. Sze, chairman of Freetech, was awarded as Technological Meritorious Statesman of Nanjing City, which is the first non-mainland PRC winner of this award.
From 2009, Freetech has been awarded as Recycling Economy Experimental Company in Jiangsu Province.
In September, 2012, Project of Research and Industrialization of Low-carbon Recycling Equipment on Asphalt Maintenance by Freetech was supported by Jiangsu Provincial Commercialization of Research Findings Fund.
In 2012, Mr. Sze, chairman of Freetech, was awarded as Young and Middle Aged Specialist with Outstanding Contribution in Jiangsu Province.
On 26th June, 2013, Freetech went public in the main board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange successfully, setting up an example for road maintenance industry to list in Hong Kong market.
In January, 2014, the Road Doctor College established by Freetech was approved, making it the first education institute for top talents ever been established by an enterprise.
On 28th May, 2015, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with School of Management of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences ("UCAS"), which carried out the establishment of "Freetech-UCAS Ecological Science and Technology Research Center"
On 30 June 2015, Freetech Smart Road Recycling Engineering Investment Limited ("Freetech Smart Road"), a joint venture established by Freetech and China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company ("Cosco"), one of the world's leaders in the logistics industry, has successfully entered into an agreement with Tianjin Expressway Group in relation to the capital injection into Tianjin Expressway Maintenance Company Limited ("TEMC"), which is the first merger and acquisition case in the China's expressway maintenance industry.
On 1th December 2015, Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xi’ an Dagang Road Machinery Co., Ltd in Beijing, and the two will conduct wide-ranging and depth cooperation in multi-field such as research platform, sales network and capital operation.
